This ministry to the street population of
Austin began in 1992 and was designed to serve those who might not feel comfortable attending services in a
conventional church. This outreach seeks to fulfill the physical and spiritual needs by
offering those living on the fringes of society
a worship service and a free, hot meal. An ongoing discipleship program is offered to
those who come to know Christ through Church Under the Bridge. The ultimate goal of
CUB is to help those living on the street to live productive, healthy lives.
There are two services every morning, one
offered in Spanish at 10:30 am and one in English in 11:30 am. There are many
church's in the Austin area that volunteer their time and talent to make this ministry
possible. We are always in need of individuals and groups who have willing hearts
and the desire to serve those who are in need.
